John Baggot

A Franco-Irish Jacobite wounded at Culloden and taken as a Prisoner of War (released in 1747; see Prisoners of the '45, vol. 2, pp. 18-19). The Muster Roll has his name as Mathew, and conflates him with Mathew/Mark Baggot, Captain in FitzJames's Horse (pp. 38-40).
