John Gordon of Glenbucket

A participant the Jacobite risings of 1715 and 1745, and possibly also in 1689. Extremely active in recruiting for the Jacobite army, allegedly sometimes by force. Escaped to the continent after Culloden. Father-in-law to John MacDonell of Glengarry and Donald MacDonell of Lochgarry.
