James Grant

Formerly on the staff of the Caledonian Mercury (working under Thomas Ruddiman), Grant was chiefly employed "printing proclamations and papers" during the campaign (Prisoners of the '45, vol. 1, pp. 135-36). He was also active in the Rising of 1715 (Prisoners of the '45, vol. 2, pp. 256-57).
