Prisoners of the '45 gives his occupation as tailor and merchant, his age as 22, his regiment as Lovat's, and states that he was transported (vol. 3, pp. 102-03). The Muster Roll gives his occupation as merchant, his age as 34, his regiment as Lady Mackintosh's, and states that he escaped (p. 173).
