Mr Sterling

Probably George Stirling, surgeon: a Jacobite member of the Episcopal congregation at Perth. He was active in the Rising of 1745, and died in Paris in 1750 (Farquhar, Episcopal History of Perth, pp. 137, 154-55, 205-06, 173; Inglis, "Last Episcopal Minster of Moneydie, pp. 242-43).
