N: B: As Mr Lyon frequently
			
administredadministered the Holy Eucharist to
his Fellow-Prisoners in Carlisle-Castle,
so, particularly upon Wednesday, OctrOctober
15th, he had the Happiness to com-
municate above fifty of them, among
which Number were Mr Thomas
Coppoch, the English Clergyman,
&and ✝Arnprior; &and upon the 26th of the

the same Month being the 22d Sun-
day after Trinity, he had above
thirty Communicants. – He suffer’dsuffered
at Penrith upon Tuesday, OctrOctober 28th,
the Festival of StSaint Simon &and StSaint Jude,
1746. and perform’dperformed the whole De-
votions upon the Scaffold with
the same Calmness &and Composure
of Mind &and the same Decency of
Behaviour, as if he had been
only a Witness of the fatal Scene.
He delivered every Word of his
Speech to the numerous Crowd
of Spectators. Mr Lyon never
saw the Speeches of Mr Dea-
con &and Mr Syddal, which some
might imagine from their Agree-
ment in some Points. – He bore
all his own Charges in the Ex-
pedition.
