Letter from the RevdReverend✝ Mr James
Taylor
to Me R:Robert F:Forbes

I kept no Diary of what happen'dhappened to
me during my Confinement, but shall
endeavour to recollect, and write down
all the most noticeable Occurrences of
that Time of Distress; and if, after col-
lecting
them, I can judgjudge them proper for
your Design, they shall be transmitted
to you by some secure, private Hand.
I have heard of Priesthill's Story,
and shall endeavour to learn the seve-
ral
particulars of it from some per-
sons
in Cathness who have better In-
formation than my selfmyself, &and shall not
fail to acquaint you accordingly. He
lives in the Shire of Ross.
