^were bestowing high &and fulsome Encomiums upon
the D:Duke of Cumberland before
the Election of yethe Stadtholder.

As Isr’elIsrael once a Golden Calf did frame,
And Moses did to Powder pound yethe same,
Just so yethe British do collect their Ore,
Of it to make what Isr’elIsrael made before,
A Duke or Calf, it makes no Diff’renceDifference which,
The Dutch will worship, if yethe Idol’s rich:
But when Count Saxe descends into yethe Plain,
The Calf he’ll bruise, was first erect on Mayne1,
And Britain free from all ytthat Vit’lineVituline Race,
Under their Vine ytthat all may dwell in Peace.
