My Lady Bruce happening to turn the con-
versation
upon the D:Duke of Cumberland
&and President Forbes, Dr John Clerk said,
“that the D:Duke had a very odd unlucky Ex-

“him very low in the Opinion of many;
“&and it was this, that, when the D:Duke spoke
