From John Farquharson of Aldlerg,
Dunkerque, June 30. 1768.
Our common
Friend (thank God) is very well. I
have heard of him lately. He has
still great Hopes of recovering his
health; &and I hope (tho’though the Doctors do
not) his flow of Spirits will get
the better of his stubborn Illness;
Stubborn indeed! God send him the
proper Cure.
