. Bankruptcies still prevail in
EdrEdinburgh at a very strange &and alarming Rate. To
give you a Sketch of them for some few Years
past, One gave way for 150,000 ₤ sterlsterling.
a Second for 70,000 ₤ sterlsterling. a Third for
50,000 ₤ sterlsterling. a Fourth for 16 Do, a Fifth
for 20,000 ₤ sterlsterling. a Sixth for 5000 [] ₤ sterlsterling.
&and a Seventh for 1000. besides others for
like Sums to the two last. God knows
where these Things will end. Our paper-
