The narrative in Italian pleases me much. Could a copy of it be got? If the genealogy appear in print, let me have a copy (Paton V.3, 282).

To B.Bishop G.Gordon

“JanryJanuary 5. 1773.
You are
to use the two Bits of Papers in French,
which I send with Pleasure, as you
please. May not the Genealogy, omit-
ting
somewhat, be printed in some
News-PapersNewspapers? There can be no Dan-
ger
when a certain legitime, &andc. is
kept out. However, do as you may
judge most fit &and useful.
Your agreeable Accounts of Cousin
Peggie
, &andc. are extremely refreshing,
&and they are transmitted to L.Lady G.Gask with
your kind Remembrances as under
your own Hand. The Narrative in I-
talian
pleases me much. Could a
Copy of it be got? If the Genealogy
appear in Print, let me have a Copy.”
