From B.Bishop G.Gordon
We purpose leaving this Place the 25 or 26.
Inst.Instant &and hope for better Weather; for it has
been for a Continuance a Series of stormy
Weather, violent Rains at Times, &and
Hurricanes of Wind, very terrible in-
deed, such as I never remember.
Great Mischief has been done to the
standing Corn, which is now all got
in hereabout. O that these Visitati-
ons might have their designed Effect!

Birth-DayBirthday, &and like them well.
The Dream is indeed very remarkable
&and extraordinary. My good Friend must
look to himself; but the white Cock-
ades will repellrepel The Fire. Time will
developedevelop all.

My Leg (blessed be God) is become
more limber &and easy, tho’though the Swelling
is not quite gone off; but all in good time.”
