I saw lately
a Letter from your friend, that sent you
the Little pieces of Gold by Sandy Blair’s
means. He was then very well, but still
in Statu quo. His Wife is one of the
finest Women in Europe, admired by
all friends and foes. Oh! how happy
would we be, had we a firm Grip of her
on your Side of the water, and could ar-
rest her there?”
