Secretary to the Treasury at London.
Leith, July 28. 1775.
I have often heard Dame Magda-
lene Scott, Relict of Sir William
Bruce of Kinross, narrate, It con-
sisted with her Knowledge, that
Cooper of Gogar was the first
Gentleman in Scotland, who had
a Coach of his own at the Cross
of Edinburgh.
