Murdoch MacLeod of Eyre
Third son of Malcolm MacLeod, eighth of Raasay. See Mackenzie, History of the MacLeods, p. 373, where it is stated that he was father to Malcolm MacLeod of Brae, although this contradicts the statement (p. 372) that Captain Malcolm was Raasay's nephew, not his grandson.
