Aloud I heard the Voice of Fame
Th’The important News relate,
While Eccho caught yethe pleasing Theme,
And did the same^ ^Sound repeat.

Mute, when she spoke, was ev’ryevery Wind,
The Zephyrs ceas’dceased to blow,
The Waves in silent Raptures stood,
And Thames forgot to flow.

While thus, in early Bloom of Time,
Forth from a rev’rendreverend Oak,
In sacred &and inspired RhimeRhyme
An ancient Druid spoke.

“An Hero from fair Clementine.
Long Ages hence shall spring,
And all the Gods yrtheir Pow’rsPowers shall join,
To bless the future King.
Venus 1250 (1250)
Venus shall give him all her Charms,
To win &and conquer Hearts,
Rough Mars shall train yethe youth to Arms,
Minerva teach him Arts.

Great Jove shall all his Bolts supply,
Which taught yethe Rebel Brood,
To know yethe Ruler of the Sky,
And trembling own their God.
