A Song by Mr C—s.

The Queen of Hungary, as Fame doth report,
To heighten yethe Splendor of Cumberland’s Court,
Hath sent him some Beasts of a wonderful Sort,
Which no Bodynobody can deny.

She knew such a Present his Highness would suit,
And therefore her Wisdom let no one dispute
In sending a Parcel of Beasts to a Brute,
Which no Bodynobody can deny.

Her Majesty’s sure by ysthis means to succeed,
From Beasts of Oppression her Country has freed,
Who all were suspected of Hanover Breed,
Which no Bodynobody can deny.

When Billy yrtheir landing at first understood,
His chiefest Concern was yethe Choice of yrtheir Food,
Which at length, like his own, he resolv’dresolved to be ^Blood,
Which no Bodynobody can deny.

The Cause of yethe Present, as some People tell,
Was his Zeal in promoting her Int’restInterest so well,
And for qtwhat she obtain’dobtained by yethe Peace at Chapelle,1
Which no Bodynobody can deny.

But others, qsewhose JudgmentJudgement I chusechoose not to quote,
Insist, ytthat yethe Boar wtwith yethe Owl &and the Goat
Are Emblems intended for Persons of Note,
Which no Bodynobody can deny.

But 1252 (1252)
But here I declare, ‘tis not my Intent
To say qmwhom yethe Boar &and yethe Goat represent;
So to judge for your selvesyourselves you must e’eneven be content,
Which no Bodynobody can deny.

Yet yethe hornified Owl, qchwhich remains for yethe oyrother,
If true, was intended for Fecky his Brother,
The qchwhich he resembles far more ynthen his Mother,
Which no Bodynobody can deny.

But the Lion of England, qnwhen freed from his Den,
Shall chase to yethe ForrestsForests these Blood-hounds again,
Which ytthat Heaven soon grant let us all say Amen,
Which no Bodynobody can deny.

Then charge to yethe Brim, since ‘tis Wine gives a Spring,
Let us join Heart &and Hand &and merrily sing
To yethe speedy &and happy Return of yethe King,
Which no Bodynobody can deny.
